Mzamo Mbambo is an emerging academic and Human Resource Management practitioner currently serving as an Academic Tutor in the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Nelson Mandela University. In this role, he supports student learning and academic development across the fields of Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, contributing to the preparation of future HR professionals.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (BCom Hons) degree in Labour Relations and Human Resource Management, both obtained from Nelson Mandela University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management, further strengthening his expertise in organisational development and people management.
Mzamo's research interests encompass human resource development, labour relations, employee well-being, organisational development, and capacity-building within the agricultural sector. His current Master's research explores the perceptions of agricultural small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) regarding the effectiveness of capacity-building programmes in the Eastern Cape, with the aim of identifying strategies that promote organisational sustainability and workforce development.
Passionate about the intersection of research and practice, Mzamo is committed to advancing evidence-based Human Resource Management practices that support employee development, organisational effectiveness, and sustainable workplace transformation. Through his academic and tutoring roles, he continues to foster student success while contributing to the development of resilient and inclusive workplaces.
