Louis Hugo is an academic intern in the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology. He graduated from Nelson Mandela University, in 2024, with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management. In 2025, Louis graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Labour Relations and Human Resource Management (Cum Laude).

 

His Honours research focused on mental health disorders in the workplace, specifically on the effects of mental health disorders, interventions used to assist employees struggling with mental health disorders, and effectiveness of these interventions. Currently, Louis is studying towards his Master of Law (LLM) in Labour Law, with an interest in both individual and collective labour law.
